Deliverables and Services

Precise Survey Control Network Installation & Maintenance < 1mm

At 3D Engineering Surveys Ltd, we specialize in the installation and maintenance of precise survey control networks for the aviation industry, ensuring accuracy within

LiDAR As-Built Structure & Facility Surveys

Our LiDAR As-Built Structure & Facility Surveys utilize advanced laser scanning technology to produce detailed Building Information Models (BIM). The 3DES (Point DB) system allows rapid integration of points into models over large areas, enhancing speed, efficiency, and quality control. Our geospatial database supports multiple file formats, providing flexibility for various project needs. Field teams scan entire facilities with LiDAR, and all scans are registered and entered into the 3DES point database, giving our clients a significant advantage in managing and analyzing their infrastructure accurately and efficiently.

UAV Aerial Volumetric Survey & Progress Reports

Our UAV Aerial Volumetric Survey & Progress Reports offer precise aerial imagery to measure and monitor construction site progress and volumetric calculations. Authorized by the UK CAA, 3D Engineering Ltd ensures accurate tracking of volumes, quantities, and progress throughout the construction process. All measurements are verified by Chartered Surveyors, providing reliable data for project management and decision-making.

Buried Utility Surveys

Our Buried Utility Surveys utilize advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Radio Detection equipment to accurately locate buried pipelines, water cavities, concrete, and cables. As a regulated member of the European GPR Society, 3D Engineering Ltd adheres to the PAS 128 standard for all surveys. Our geophysicists expertly interpret survey data, merging it with above-ground features to create comprehensive AutoCAD and Revit 3D models. These detailed models provide a complete view of both above and below-ground utilities, ensuring precise and reliable infrastructure management for the aviation industry globally.

CCTV Pipeline Filming & Inspection Surveys

3D Engineering Ltd offers comprehensive CCTV Pipeline Filming & Inspection Surveys as part of our airport services. Equipped with advanced hardware and software, we conduct detailed filming surveys to assess the inclination and condition of buried wastewater pipelines. Each video is accompanied by a thorough report that includes gradient and circumference measurements, as well as a comprehensive condition assessment. This precise and informative approach ensures effective management and maintenance of pipeline infrastructure within the aviation industry globally.

Structural Monitoring and Nonconformity Surveys

3D Engineering Ltd provides advanced Structural Monitoring and Nonconformity Surveys as part of our airport services. Using custom-developed software and systems, we monitor and measure the deformation and nonconformity of airport runways. Our system generates daily color-coded maps from point cloud data, highlighting surface irregularities and changes. It allows for in-depth analysis through cross-sections, which can be monitored and reported daily. We also utilize tablet apps for uploading concrete panel condition photographs and information. By breaking the surface into manageable sections, each with an ID number, our software highlights 'failing tiles' for easy identification and detailed review, ensuring precise and efficient runway management.
